I was able to "Grey Market" in a couple of cases for those of you who need something just a little shorter. |

About the
TruVativ IsoFlow crankset
These are fairly basic, with a painted finish. Stock chainrings are steel, but are ramped and pinned so shift reliably. Rings are spaced for 8 or 9 speed chain. BB spindle; Square taper. 110mm will give the optimum chainline for a road bike, recumbent or older MTB with 130mm spacing. 113mm is best with modern MTBs or Tandems. If you currently have a107 or 115mm, I recommend giving it a try. If it doesn't work you should be able to pick up the right one at most larger bike shops. For standard bike parts, it's always best to support your local shops. But if necessary, I can provide a Shimano UN-54 BB cartridge for $25. |
Q factor; 167mm with Shimano 110mm spindle. Great ankle
clearance.
Bolt Circle Diameter (BCD) The middle and outer ring are 104mm BCD, inner is 64mm. "Safely" is a relative term. Modern cranks hopefully have a margin of safety to allow for the occasional 280 lb mountain biker. Shortening will obviously reduce this safety margin, as there will be less aluminum around the pedal hole than before. But the IsoFlows are pretty beefy wherever I put the new pedal hole. Unless you are a very large or strong rider on a non-recumbent, Knee Savers should be OK with these cranks. |

CNC machined in Spain from ultra hard 7075 aluminum. These
smooth out the uneven pedaling on recumbents. Expensive, but I'm
getting nothing but positive feedback from the over 25 sets I've sold. We've got 7 recumbents and not a round ring on any of them. |
