Payment
|
I have a PayPal.com account, where all you need is my email address, mark@bikesmithdesign.com and your credit card number.
If you need help, go to https://www.paypal.com click on HELP (at top of page) and select "How do I send Money"
If you send money through PayPal, please send me an email, letting me know you have done so.
Paypal sends me an email whenever money is deposited into my account. However they don't all get through.
Personal checks or Money Orders made out to "Bikesmith Design", not Mark Stonich
Sorry, but I can not accept payment by credit card.
$10 Surcharge on non-USA checks or money orders. This is what my bank charges me to process these, so I have to pass it on to my customers. I recommend PayPal.

Shipping & Handling
|
Shipping cost went up due to the 5/14/07 postal rate increase. I didn't raise my S&H with the last rate increase, but now I have to. They have eliminated the small flat rate envelope, so foreign shipping will go up drastically on some items. S&H for Cotter Presses and/or Fixed Cup Tools is $16.50.

I ship using US Postal Service Priority Mail. 2-3 day delivery in the Continental US. (95% in 2 days)
Or, US Postal Service Global Priority Mail. 4-6 business day delivery to most countries.
US Postal Service has been fantastic for me. No complaints in 4 years and about 700 shipments. (The one "Lost" item turned up in the recipient's mailroom.)
On the Framebuilders & Classic Bike lists I often see complaints about FedEx and UPS, never about the U.S. Post Office.
